Our first large camper, with a brand-new conversion. A Fiat Ducato almost 6 metres long, hand-built inside: a warm wooden ceiling, white walls and even a garland of little red balls above the cab. There's real room here: a big bed at the back, with storage space underneath that you access through the rear doors; a dining area with a table for breakfast or dinner under cover; a sink with a tap, a fridge and your own bathroom with an indoor shower and portable toilet. A skylight with a blind and a second roof hatch keep the air moving. It has three seats in the cab and a manual gearbox, and a category B licence is all you need. Mind you, it stands about 2.76 m tall (according to the technical data sheet), so forget about most underground car parks. On the upside, it's the roomiest camper in our fleet.
