Documents and deposit when hiring a camper
Before booking, it's natural to want to know what paperwork you need and what happens with the deposit. Here it is laid out clearly, with no surprises on pick-up day.
What to bring on pick-up day
- Valid ID card, tax number or passport.
- Valid driving licence.
- The deposit, if you haven't already paid it when booking (bank transfer or in person, no payment gateway).
The security deposit: €300, refundable
When you pick up the camper you leave a security deposit of €300, in cash or by bank transfer. It's a guarantee, not a charge: it's returned in full at the end of the hire if the van comes back as it was handed over, with no damage and no surprises.
How booking works
You choose your dates in our fleet finder, leave a 30% deposit to secure the camper, and pay the rest when you pick it up, along with the security deposit. No card held, no automatic charges: everything in person or by bank transfer.
